MAINTENANCE LAWNS OF FIELDS FOR GOLF
The characteristics of natural zeolite will help to prevent compaction of the soil, increase filtration and aeration of deep systems of plant roots, and hold sufficient amount of water: up to 40 to 70 percent of its own weight. Since dry zeolite is of reseda color and when moistened is of a darker shade, visually it melts into lawns and links and has a pleasant appearance.
Use: in construction of new green fields for playing golf and lawns from 10 to 20 percent of the soil is replaced with the equal volume of natural zeolite.
It should be introduced to the depth of 5 to 15 cm. For turf reconstruction or renovation or rehabilitation of lawns up to 150 kg of zeolite per 100 sq. meters should be used. To increase soil aeration one should use from 30 to 75 kg per 100 sq. meters or from 3,000 to 7,000 kg per a hectare. For treating and fertilizing existing lawns it is necessary to use from 15 to 30 kg for 100 sq. meters or from 1,500 to 3,000 kg per a hectare.
